Dear Mr.McLeavy,
Thank you for your letter of the 6th Ceptember about your return journey.
2. Mr.Harrison has, I understand, writen to the Colonial Office esking whether facilities can be given him in Singapore, and I imagine he will vish to await their reply before he makes a decision. At his request I have ascertained for hi from the Colonial office that the cost of twenty four hours' board and lodging in Singapore is about 620 tra ts, or £2.6.8.
3. I understand that you are ready to concur in any decision made by Mr. Harrison, and unless I hear to the contrary I shall book you by whichever Deans of travel ...r. Harrison eventually chooses.
